Terry Cater, Founding Partner
Terry is a seasoned veteran of the broadcast industry having worked at NBC, CBS, Fox and CNN. Terry scored her first media job as a political reporter for NBC News while still a junior in college. She went on to garner more political experience working for US Congressmen and Senators and returned to the newsroom covering elections for Fox News. With an interest in medicine, Terry reported on medical stories as a health producer at CBS News and then went on to cover breaking news and crisis situations at the networks. After years of booking guests and unsatisfied with ineffective publicity pitches, Terry made the move to Public Relations and broadcast production where she fine-tuned her publicity skills and eventually co-founded Playback Producers.
Peter Marchese, Founding Partner
Peter worked in TV for more than a decade. As an assignment editor, he decided what stories were newsworthy and made the air. Peter was a breaking news TV producer and also specialized in producing lifestyle, entertainment, consumer and features packages. Peter worked with over 200 Fox affiliates around the country, the Fox News Channel and CNN. Tapping into his broadcasting knowledge, contacts and skills - Peter has brought impressive results to a broad range of clients forming strategic publicity plans. Peter has a Masters in International Media and Communications from Columbia University and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, West Africa.
